Coconut Custard Tarts

You’ll love the creamy filling in these coconut custard tarts – made even more delicious with Davao’s Coconut Milk and Old Manila Coconut Sport Strings!

~Coconut Custard Tarts~
Prep time 20 mins, Cook time 30 mins
Makes 18 tarts

– 18 small unbaked frozen tart shells
– 1 can Davao’s Favorite Coconut Milk
– 1/2 jar Old Manila Coconut Sport Strings, drained
– 1/4 cup heavy cream
– 3 egg yolks
– 1/4 tsp salt
– 1 tbs cornstarch
– 1/4 cup sugar
– 1 tsp vanilla

1. Defrost frozen tart shells, according to package instructions. Pre-heat oven to 375F.
2. Stir dry ingredients together. When well mixed, whisk in vanilla, cream, coconut milk and egg yolks. Mix in coconut sport strings.
3. Place defrosted tarts on baking tray, keeping them in their aluminum tart pans. Fill each tart 3/4 full with coconut custard mixture.
4. Bake tarts until custard is set, about 30 minutes. Cool and enjoy!
