Tuna Rice Bowl

High in protein, fresh and healthy, and absolutely delicious – what more could you want? Our Tuna Rice Bowl recipe is easy to make for a satisfying lunch or light dinner!

~Tuna Rice Bowl Recipe~

serves 2, prep time 15 minutes

Ingredients:
– 1 can Bolinao’s Best Tuna, drained (for extra spice use Hot and Spicy flavour)
– 2 cups cooked rice, cooled or still warm
– 1 cup finely diced sweet peppers
– 1/3 cup seasoned rice vinegar
– 2 tbsp soy sauce
– 1 tsp sesame oil
– 1 or 2 tsp hot sauce, to taste
– juice from 1/2 lemon
– 1/4 cup sliced green onion

Directions:
1. Add drained tuna to a large bowl. Gently mix in peppers, sauces and lemon juice, keeping some larger bites of tuna.
2. Mix in cooked rice, stirring with a fork to separate the grains and incorporate with the tuna.
3. Adjust seasoning to taste – adding salt or hot sauce if desired.
4. Top with sliced green onion. This tuna rice bowl can be served warm or cold.
